Because of California and Arizona agricultural requirements, our apples must meet special storage and shipping requirements before they can be sent to these states. This generally means we cannot begin CA/AZ shipments immediately when the new crop is harvested.

Why California & Arizona Shipping Is Different

California and Arizona have additional agricultural requirements for incoming fruit, so Honeycrisp.com uses a separate program for apples that can be shipped to these states. This is why a variety that can be ordered for many other states may not appear here for a California or Arizona address.

CA/AZ shipments also generally begin later in the season than regular new-crop shipping. For the current program, shipping generally begins in late October to early November. Eligible varieties are added to this page as they become available for preorder or shipping.

Can I order an apple variety that is not shown on this page?

No. For a California or Arizona destination, order only the varieties and products currently displayed on this page. Availability elsewhere on Honeycrisp.com does not automatically mean the product is eligible for CA/AZ shipping.

What if another apple appears under Recently Viewed?

Recently Viewed only remembers products you browsed. It does not check California or Arizona shipping eligibility. If the product is not displayed as an order choice on this CA/AZ page, do not add it to a CA/AZ order.

Why do I not see a shipping charge at checkout?

Will my apples look exactly like the product photo?

Product photos are representative. Apples are natural fruit, so color, blush, shape, size, lenticels, russeting and other normal orchard characteristics can vary by variety, growing conditions and season.
