When Ordering Any Bushels

We never pack bruised apples – However, there is a risk of bruising during shipment when ordering bushel cases. This depends on how UPS handles the boxes.

Refunds or Replacements: Honeycrisp.com does not provide refunds or replacements for bruised apples shipped in ½ or full bushel cases. If you’d prefer added protection, try a Gift Box .

When Ordering Full Bushels

Full Bushel Case – an economical way to stock up on apples, weighing approximately 36–40 lb per box.
Sold by size of apple – full bushels are packed based on apple size (small, medium, or large), not weight.
As with ½ bushel cases, shipping in full bushels carries a risk of bruising. Apples are hand-packed, but handling during transit may affect some fruit.

When Ordering 1/2 Bushel Cases

1/2 Bushel Case – an economical packaging method weighing approximately 15–20 lb. Apples are sold by count or volume, not weight, similar to grocery store packaging.
Risk of Bruising: ½ bushel cases do not provide the same protection as our gift boxes and may show some bruising in transit.
Count: the number of apples in a ½ bushel case is typically 24–50 apples, depending on size. Apples are often slightly larger than those packed in gift boxes.
