Jonagold, McIntosh, and Stayman apples are ideal for this recipe, available fresh from where we make all apples of the orchard "near me" :

  • Jonagold Apples: A mix of Jonathan and Golden Delicious, offering a sweet-tart flavor that enhances the smoothie’s taste.
  • McIntosh Apples: Slightly tart and perfect for blending, adding a refreshing flavor that complements the creamy texture.
  • Stayman Apples: Known for their spicy flavor and firm texture, they add a robust flavor to your breakfast smoothie.

Recipe Ingredients and Instructions


  • 1 apple, peeled & cored
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk


  1. The night before, add all ingredients to the bowl of your blender and stir to combine.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if needed. Serve with your favorite toppings.
