The EverCrisp® was developed by the Midwest Apple Improvement Association (MAIA), a grower-owned cooperative dedicated to modern apple breeding. It's an intentional cross of Honeycrisp and Fuji — created to combine Honeycrisp's crunch with Fuji's sweetness and remarkable shelf life. Released to the market in 2015, EverCrisp is one of the most successful modern apple releases and has been steadily gaining shelf space in premium grocery stores.
