Why You’ll Love Ludacrisp

Ludacrisp is a modern variety bred for an exceptionally hard, loud crunch and a straightforward sweet flavor. Its dense flesh holds its crispness in storage longer than most varieties, making it a great choice for anyone who prioritizes crunch above all else in an apple.

Why Choose the Full Bushel Case?

This Full Bushel Case is filled with jumbo-sized Ludacrisp apples — larger fruit means fewer apples per case, generally in the 36–56 range, but each apple is bigger. It's a great option if you prefer bigger individual apples for slicing, baking, or serving.

Packed for Bulk Shipping

Our bushel cases are packed for value and freshness rather than individual foam protection, which is why bulk cases carry a greater risk of minor bruising in transit compared to our foam-protected gift boxes. Most bruising is cosmetic and does not affect flavor or usability for baking, sauce, or immediate eating.

A little bruising comes with shipping a bushel. If your box arrives crushed, torn or wet, or the bruising is more than you would expect, please contact us at 518-695-4517 or [email protected]. Photos of the box and the apples help, and we will take a look.

For the best freshness, refrigerate your apples as soon as they arrive.

Full Bushel Cases are sold by volume, not exact weight — this case holds approximately 36–42 lbs, typically 36–56 larger-sized Ludacrisp apples, since jumbo cases run fewer, bigger apples per case.

Shipping & Storage

Shipped fresh from the farm to your door. Refrigerate promptly after arrival to help preserve Ludacrisp’s exceptional crunch and sweet flavor. Keep the fruit protected from pressure and check it regularly during storage.
